Some people talk about doing things, and some do things. Which are you? Are you working on activities that move you closer to your end goals? Do you have recent examples of you putting your thoughts and ideas into action? Do your current habits support the conversion of your thoughts and ideas into actions?
The quickest way to determine if you are making progress in converting your thoughts and dreams into meaningful actions is by looking at your results. If you planned to move into your dream house by the time you were 40 years old and you were fifty years old with no plan to attain your goal, your house was just a dream. Simple.
Dreams and goals without meaningful plans are just that….dreams and goals. They are not results!
If you are not doing the practical daily activities supporting end goals, you are not moving toward your desired results. Start work NOW and act on the ideas swirling around in your head! Pick one of your best ideas, put together your plan, work your plan, and review your results! Only you can make your dreams or ideas a reality. Take action NOW!
You will hear the dream and idea assassins, which may sometimes be “friends and relatives”, provide you several ideas of why “you can’t do…blah, blah, blah” - don’t get caught in the dream or idea death trap! Take your dreams and ideas and run fast and run far away!
Do not let someone else’s insecurities take the life out of your dreams and ideas. To hell with the naysayers, keep pushing forward, and do the hard yards for YOU! So, create your plan, do the work, review your results, and adjust as needed!
As well, the conditions will never be perfect for you to get started on driving your dreams and ideas to reality. There will always be something that is not right… So take action and deal with the challenges and obstacles as they arise.
You will make mistakes while working toward your end goals. The key is to grab the lesson of each mistake, understand it, revise your plan, move on, and don’t repeat the same mistake again.
Stay focused in the present because “would have, should have, and could have”, doesn’t mean anything right now! You can’t impact yesterday; it’s gone. The only time you can affect is NOW! You may have plans for tomorrow, but what if tomorrow doesn’t come for you? The present is the only thing that matters right now!
Maximize your time! Maximize your time! Maximize your time! Remove the distractions and non-productive moments from your life by bypassing the distractions and getting down to the business that needs attention now. The business at hand starts with knowing, “what is the objective?”, “what needs to happen?”, “who doing what?” and “when does it need to be done?”.
Don’t waste your time, and don’t let anyone waste your time! Once time is gone, it is gone! There are no refunds for spent time!

The plan for this week is to start a journal. Label your journal “Dreams and Ideas” and begin documenting your dreams and ideas along with the steps required to make them real - then take action!
